Long Live the Kings' Chairman's Council is comprised of $1,000 and above annual donors who support our efforts to help recover wild salmon and support sustainable fisheries. Each year the Chairman's Council luncheon honors this important group and welcomes new supporters.

As LLTK approached its 20th anniversary year, the 2005 luncheon provided an opportunity to celebrate our successes, introduce our next phase of work, and launch an ambitious fundraising campaign aimed at supporting new models for salmon recovery and sustainable fisheries.

The featured speaker this year was Nathan J. Mantua, PhD, Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Sciences and Marine Affairs at the University of Washington, and a full time research scientist with the UW's Climate Impacts Group. Special guests included photographer Natalie Fobes (Reaching Home: Pacific Salmon, Pacific People, Alaska Northwest Books), and representatives from the office of Congressman Norm Dicks (D-WA), the Northwest Indian fisheries Commission, and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

The continued support of the Chairman's Council, and the engagement of new constituents, are critical to our success - if you attended this year's luncheon we thank you for your support. If you are interested in joining the Chairman's Council and receiving an invitation to next year's event, please contact Carol McGrath at 206-382-9555, ext. 21 or cmcgrath@lltk.org. Thank you for your support!
