Note: In June 2007 LLTK returned management responsibility for the Wishkah River Hatchery to the State of Washington. These pages exist as an archive of LLTK's 20 years of work on the Wishkah River. Our December 2007 Year End Report features a story about what we learned from our two decades operating the Wishkah Hatchery.

Terry R. Baltzell Terry Baltzell managed the Wishkah River Salmon Hatchery as an employee of LLTK from 1986 to 2007. He began working at the hatchery in 1973, when Mayr Brothers Timber Company established the facility. Before that, Terry worked in forestry and fisheries research for the Washington Department of Natural Resources. Though LLTK returned management responsibility for the State-owned Wishkah Hatchery to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) in June 2007, Terry remains in his post as Hatchery Manager under the direction of WDFW.
